With today's currency rate I think it would be cheap to live in Kiev for foreign students.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kiev? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not really difficult to find a good apartment with a good price.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Ukrainian cuisine is really delicious. If you are here just go to one of many restaurants with national cuisine and try it yourself.

What places would you recommend visiting in Kiev?

Khreschatyk is the main street in Kiev. There you can find different shops, cafes and interesting places in the area.

Also, there is Mariinsky Park with spots where you can enjoy beautiful views.

Is it good to eat out in Kiev? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I don't eat out a lot but there are plenty of good restaurants with different cuisine. Nice place is Banka Bar.

They have really interesting way of serving dishes. And in the evening you can have a great time with friends and tasty shots!

Is the nightlife good in Kiev? Where is good to go?

While in Kiev you should definitely go to pub BarDuck. There you can eat drink and smoke hookah.

The best thing about this pub is that some drinks have surprises. You don't know what drink is with surprise until you order it and the waiter brings it to you.

I will not tell you what kind of surprises there are but trust me, you will have a lot of fun.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kiev?

Be ready for the weather. Because of high humidity in summer, it's really hot and in winter really cold. But despite that in summer you can go swimming and sunbathing on the beach and in winter enjoy the best mulled wine I've ever tried, in a cafe called Glintweyna (ГлинтвейнЯ).
