What is it like to live in Kiev? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is peaceful , quite reassonable subsistance level , a lot attractive sights .
It looks similar to St Petersburg (Russia)

What is the student lifestyle like in Kiev?

There are plenty comprehensive and single -purpose institutions giving deep knowledges
The only disedvantage- no english lecture-recitation programms except of language experts studies.

How much does it cost to live in Kiev?

Study/accomodation cost similar to Warszaw even little bit less
Some institutions like police academy , military and inteligence service are strictly national (Ukrainian citizens) commodity

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kiev? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not difficult at all. It does not matter long or short terms accomodation rent require.
There are particular dormitory accomodation as well which cost peanuts but having very pure facilities , Cost of single bed room apartment is in the range of usd 400-700 usd depends location ,

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Plenty bistro /restaurants having various cousine are available.
Some restaurants in city center offering business lunch in the range 5 , max10 usd
Snack like sandwich costing abt 20-30 hrivnas=3 usd

What places would you recommend visiting in Kiev?

There are plenty museums , nice looking and historicaly famous churches , opera , theatres etc

Is it good to eat out in Kiev? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

If you mean reastaurants - yes there are plenty at city suburbs inside of forest and nice surrounding. The only personal transport(car) require ( taxi quite expensive due to long run) otherwise it's reasonable to reant mini bus for a group of 5-10 persons

Is the nightlife good in Kiev? Where is good to go?

Every age can choose night entertainmant depends own desire- dancing , strip , disco, restaurants , river boat trip , different parties
It depends what u want and your money value

What advice would you give future students heading to Kiev?

Suggest to learn Ukraine/Russian language firts and they will not regret further
