Actually, finding accommodation is very easy and cheap, but the communal fee will probably be expensive in winter.

Lithuanian traditional foods are called Saltibarci (cold-soup) and Kepsniai (some steaks).
What places would you recommend visiting in Kaunas?
Traki, Vilnius, Palang and Nida.

No, but you can try it too.
Is the nightlife good in Kaunas? Where is good to go?
Yes. I recommend Basement, Dejavu Bar club, Zero club, etc.
