Below 300 Euro is more than enough for living. Here things are very cheap as compared to other European countries.

For Non-European student it is very difficult to get the flat in Kaunas, so it's better for students to stay in university dormitories. Dorm has all the facilities like a star hotel.

Basically cakes and Lithuanian vodka are very famous in Kaunas.

What places would you recommend visiting in Kaunas?

Old down and riverside.

Is it good to eat out in Kaunas? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

For me only Pizza and Kebab are good to eat outside. Mexican Pizza, Breutai Kebab, Cilli Picca and Can bei.

Is the nightlife good in Kaunas? Where is good to go?

For nightlife there are some pubs and clubs located in city center and old town. Here we can meet international students and we can spend more time for entertainment.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kaunas?

Here in winter time sometimes temperature goes about minus 25, so student should be well prepared to stay in this climate. We have to take care of our health too.
