Kaunas is more for students to enjoy themselves. Since it has many universities surrounding it, you can connect with many students with varying culture and nationality.

What is the food like?

Cepelinai is a food to try when in Lithuania. If you or more into healthier stuff, then you have cold beet soup and rye bread. Kaunas also has many restaurants offering food from different cuisines.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I find Lithuanian a little hard. But luckily my university offers courses taught in English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Kaunas from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Kaunas?

To the Old town.

Mc Donalds, Casa della pasta, London Grill...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The old town has many museums, churches and also the Kaunas castle.
