What is it like to live in Katowice? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It is an industrial city, but nice to live in. Getting more and more modern. Very good connection with the other cities and it takes 40 minutes to the airport in Pyrzowice.
What is the student lifestyle like in Katowice?
Calm place, a lot of parks, but also a lot of cafes and cool places to go to. You can get to the Polish mountains Beskidy in about 1 hour by train.
How much does it cost to live in Katowice?
You need about 800zl/185 Euros for food and stuff and then you need about 600-850zl/150-200 Euros to rent a room.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The Silesian cuisine is very rich. I recommend you (rolled meat and potato dumplings).
