Yes !! Złoty Osioł, Mad Mick, Hurry Carry, Zdrowa Krowa, Lenart (pizza) and many others.
Is the nightlife good in Katowice? Where is good to go?
There are a lot of concerts. There is also main street with pubs called Mariacka. But I must admit the city is empty during the week, unless there is war and it's a good weather. Most of partys are during the weekend and this time city is full of pleople. But if you don't need lot of people to be happy, you cn party even the whole week, cause there are a few pubs opened till late night. I can reccoment pub Kontynuacja on Mariacka street. This is pub with beers, but really good beers ! Minus is that they are quite expensive, but definetely worth their price. A place to dance is Bavitto.
What advice would you give future students heading to Katowice?
Find a flat near place where you spend a lot of time. Explore this city, but remember about other polish cities like Krakow or Wrocław. Although be careful. And have a good time !
