Not that bad, but not that good either. Don't come with high hopes.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Katowice to other students?

It's a hard question which may contain lots of different answers. But for sure, I wouldn't be here if I knew that Katowice was going to be like this.

What is the food like?

To be honest, I haven't tried many local food, except one which was just fine. I think polish food is not so great, otherwise there wouldn't be kebab shops everywhere in the city.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Katowice?

I stay in a dormitory and it costs 500 PLN per month.

How much does it cost to live in Katowice?

Around 1500 PLN.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I have no idea.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Katowice from your city?

By plane to Prague and then taking polskibus to Katowice.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Katowice?

Bavitto.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Katowice?

No, I can't. I have never been interested in food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

No idea.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Katowice in the future?

If you have a better option, take it. If you don't... well, be prepared to all sort of things.
