Why did you choose to go to Karlsruhe, Germany?
It was in my Master program.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My scholarship was from the European Comission, the amount was enough to pay rent and to live.
What is the student lifestyle like in Karlsruhe?
You go to Karlsruhe to study. They have many sports facilities as well, very nice library and places to eat.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Karlsruhe to other students?
Yes, if you want to get a very good degree!
What is the food like?
German food is always awesome.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Karlsruhe?
The accomodation mostly is provided by the University.
How much does it cost to live in Karlsruhe?
500 euros a months is possible to live, though of course it can be more.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
You can learn German in the University for free.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Karlsruhe from your city?
You can use RyanAir to get Baden-Baden and then take a tram/train.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Karlsruhe?
To a student bar, they are very interesting!
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Karlsruhe in the future?
If you want to take any extra courses in the University, be fast to get into them, because there are many interested people! Enjoy the time there, the people are awesome, student residences are very good.
