Why did you choose to go to Karlsruhe, Germany?

Karlsruhe is a really lovely city and is near to the borders, so you can travel a lot. I am living in Istanbul and I was fed up with crowd, noise and dirty weather. In Karlsruhe, they were the other way around so I chose this city.

320 per month from my uni. However, I used my savings to live there. Apparently, this money is hardly enough to have a quality life there.

What is the student lifestyle like in Karlsruhe?

Even though local students are not happy about their city, I think it is a perfect city for a student. Everywhere is so close, cheap and you can go everywhere by bike. It is not a crazy city but it is a good student city.

A lot. It is one of the best universities of Germany. The quality of education was really high. I can describe the city as a student city.

I am coming from Turkey so they did not satisfy me. However, in Germany you can find everything in frozen form and it is cheap. Besides, Mensa (which means canteen in German language) is very cheap and good for many people.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

German language is a bit hard or maybe I don't have enough talent to learn but the quality of the German Language courses is not so well. If you don't need ECTS from those courses, you can go to the courses offered by Volkhochschule. Their prices are slightly higher than university's courses.
