Restaurant Day is a daily event that takes place 4 times per year. In this day, anyone could create a mini restaurant in their houses/ backyards/gardens/attics/storage rooms/parks etc and serve their own home made food. If you decide to open your own restaurant for a day, it’s up to you to decide for how many people you want to cook and serve food, for how long and at what times will you ‘restaurant’ be open and most importantly, what kind of food would you like to cook! If you plan to visit the restaurants in your area, you should do a small research on what kind of food is offered and where. In both cases, you should consult the official site: www.restaurantday.org . If you decide to hold your own restaurant, you should register to this website with the basic information (as mentioned before) at least a week before the event. If you are visiting restaurants, be sure to check out what’s going on around you on the websites map with available options next to you. And what about prices? The owners of the restaurants decide on what will the price of their menu!
