Because I was looking for a small city but with everything that you need to study and to go to the parties.

What is the student lifestyle like in Jaén?

I'm not sure, I tried to go to the university but the parties didn't let me go.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Jaén to other students?

Jaén is a small city, cheaper than other cities in Spain and I spent there the best 6 months of my life, I met students from all over the world, America, Europe, Asia, Africa.

What is the food like?

Excellent. The best are tapas, kebabs and "Restaurante El Abuelo".

Yes, a little bit.

How much does it cost to live in Jaén?

Aprox. 400-500/month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, a lot of courses but you don't need them, if you go to the parties you can learn Spanish, English or other languages.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Jaén from your city?

Airplane and train from Madrid.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Jaén?

All the botellones.

"El Abuelo" restaurant, tapas bar, "El bodegón".

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The castle.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Jaén in the future?

Enjoy the experience, do everything you want, don't have limits, you are young.
