Why did you choose to go to Jaen, Spain?

I went to Jaen beacause of I'd want to study mechanical engineering, and this city it was near Cazorla (my city). In addition, Jaen is one of the cheapest cities that I could choice.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I've received 3000 euros per year. So I must pass one percentage (60%) in roder to get the scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Jaen?

Normally, I woke up at 8:00 or 9:00 every day. I used to do the shopping or study in the library in the test season and I used to go to classes on the evening.

I've always eaten and in my flat and on Tuesday I used to go to the disco with my university friends.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Jaen to other students?

I'd recommended the city if students want to live in one cheap city, but I'd always prefer living in Granada. One amazing city!

What is the food like?

The food is good! You can go to the bars, and taste the delicious "tapas".

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Jaen?

No, I didn't.

How much does it cost to live in Jaen?

Between 125-175 euros per room.
Near university the cost is 200 euros per person aproximately.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there're many courses in the University of Spanish, English, French, German...

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Jaen from your city?

By bus, but exist by train cheapest tickets too. It depends of the city.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Jaen?

I'd recommend Taberna "Dover" for the evening and in the night you could go to the local pubs like "Moet" or the local disco.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Jaen?

Taberna "Dover" definitively.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I think that the most interesting monument is the Cathedral of Jaen. I used to go to Bulevar park.
