How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I got 400e per month.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Jaen to other students?
I recommend the University, but Jaen is really small city, so depends on what you expect.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Jaen?
I pay 160e per months plus water, internet, gas and electricity, more or less 190e per month.
How much does it cost to live in Jaen?
Cost of life in Jaen is not big, comparing to other bigger or touristic cities in Spain it's cheap.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There is a language course, you can choose your level, twice a week, 2 hours, teachers are really nice. If you want to learn spanish, it's easy, but in all Andalusia's cities it's little bit harder, because they used to cut the last part of word. Typical people in Jaen don't speak english so the only way to communicate with them is spanish, so it's easy way to learn and improve it.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Jaen from your city?
From Wrocław the best option is taking a plane to Malaga or Madrid and then bus from Malaga or train from Madrid, but generally the cheapest way to travel is using a blablacar.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Jaen?
There are a lot of small pubs and only 2 clubs - Mambo and Kharma. If you want to dance there is not a big choice.
