Why did you choose to go to Jaen, Spain?

I didn't have much choice since our school offered just Jaen and Malaga, but this last one was already full. At the end Jaen was great. The situation of the city is an advantage for travelling.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Jaen?

No, we had a buddy tutor who helped us find something.

How much does it cost to live in Jaen?

Well it depends on the activities you want to do and the accommodation price. I think if you want to enjoy the real student life with lots of travelling, parties, etc. it would cost a lot money, but avarage costs are around 400-500€ per month including accommodation, food, some parties and trips.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Well, I came to Jaen with no Spanish knowledge and after a month it's possible to speak about easy and basic problems. The university offers courses with several teachers who are really professional, and who speak Spanish the whole time, which is very important because there no choice but to speak Spanish.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Jaen from your city?

I am from Czech Republic, so the best is by plane because by bus it would be really tiring and maybe for the same price.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Jaen?

I don't know, maybe some hostel that is next to train station.
