Castellammare del Golfo
The next day, we travelled by bus to the west of Sicily to see Castellammare del Golfo.
During the trip, we saw green pastures and white mountains under a blue sky ... a picturesque scene!
Almost arriving, we could oversee the whole lagoon where we would be later on!
Finally: The small village invited us with this amazing sunny view (this should be one of my best photos from the entire trip). The main business is fishery, and we saw many small local shops in the centre.
Most of the houses in the village were white to reflect the hot sunrays. White and blue made for a great contrast!
On the sea, some boats were sailing ... I wish we could have done this as well! The blue background made it so inviting! It's my favourite colour, you know?
After that, we went to Erice ... stay tuned!
