What is it like to live in Islamabad? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

its one of the most beautiful capital city in the world, greenery mountains and some buildings. its quite a good place to pay a visit.

What is the student lifestyle like in Islamabad?

as i'm living with my parents, its quite difficult since i'm the eldest at home, i have to take care of grocery and stuff here and find a little time to study tho.

How much does it cost to live in Islamabad?

living cost is quite expensive if you are working in here. you get paid very low wages and house rent is expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Islamabad? Is there any advice you can give?

yes.. to find a better room its very difficult to find here or if you are going to get a home rent it will get expensive.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

my favorite pakistan dish is biryani, its hot but its worth it, other than that there are some food that costs less but they are quite not clean.

What places would you recommend visiting in Islamabad?

there is not much place to visit, but there is this monal restaurant at the mid of a margalla hills, visiting there at night you can get an outstanding view of islamabad, but for a tourists rawalpindi is a place they should visit, but should be aware of pick pockets. Faisal mosque is a place to be visited the biggest mosque. other than that there is a zoo, dam or water lake named as rawal dam.

Is it good to eat out in Islamabad? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

for desi foods yes there is this one little spot they are it DAABA in the sector i9 they sell fish the most. its so busy its gonna take you 2 hours to get your fish done. and food yes monal has the best food, but we are looking for cultural food yes, or if you are asking about the luxury restaurants. marriot hotel has best food so does serena and islamabad club is my favorite spot.

Is the nightlife good in Islamabad? Where is good to go?

nightlife is not very much good. it becomes a dead city after 10 or 11 o'clock but most people visit monal just for the view.

What advice would you give future students heading to Islamabad?

if you have someone to support you in accommodation most welcome. but if you are thinking of supporting yourself here and searching for jobs its useless, here for student life they can get maximum of 20k salary which is 200$ and the rent for room is going to be around 100$ except transport and food its quite expensive..
