What is it like to live in Islamabad? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is great to live in Islamabad. It is capital of Pakistan and one of the beautiful capital in the word.although,it is bit expensive to live in Islamabad but,I can bet that whosoever will go to Islamabad.he will enjoy every moment.It has a serene environment and hassle free.

What is the student lifestyle like in Islamabad?

It is great to be a student in capital of Pakistan.People from all corners of Pakistan and other countries come to study in Pakistan. Especially to mention chinese,turkish and people from middle east.Students can live in university accommodation or private. It is upto them. We have enough transport facilities in Islamabad if you want to travel around.In my experience most of people live in private hostels as universities cannot accommodate all the students.

How much does it cost to live in Islamabad?

It doesn't cost a lot as a foreign student. One can say easily accommodate him/herself in Islamabad for 70_150 dollars per month including utilities,transport charges rent etc

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Islamabad? Is there any advice you can give?

As a student it is not difficult to find a house in Islamabad. Islamabad is a well planned city and it has population of 1 million.There are so many houses and hostels where students can easily live depending on their needs.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Pakistani used to eat spicy food but one can get all kinds of restaurants around in Islamabad including Spanish,Turkish,afghani and so on.
My favourite dishes include biryani,pulao,mutton Karachi,grilled chicken,chicken bar b que,kheer,custard etc

What places would you recommend visiting in Islamabad?

Islamabad is full of natural beauty and it has breathtaking scenes around. I would suggest to visit monal,trail 3,trail 5,faisal mosque,blue area,f/9 park and there are so many other places.

Is it good to eat out in Islamabad? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

One can find all kinds of restaurants in Islamabad because lots of foreigners live in Islamabad. You can get Pakistani,continental,ararabic,Turkish,Italian and many other cuisines.

Is the nightlife good in Islamabad? Where is good to go?

Night life is quiet in Islamabad.It is hassle free at night in Islamabad.one cannot find so many people roaming around everywhere at night. It is quieter at night as compared to day life.

What advice would you give future students heading to Islamabad?

There is no specific advice that I want to give.It is great place to go and stay for students. It is really safe to live in Islamabad but,at the end I should suggest that keep your eyes and ears open because you can find good and bad people everywhere. The world has not become heaven yet.
