How much does it cost to live in Islamabad?

Cost varies on your lifestyle. Average rent of single room accommodation provided by University is 50-70 Euro per month. Meals like Mcdonalds are around 3 Euro . Travelling through taxi services like Uber and Careem will cost you around 1.25-5 Euros , depending on kilometers traveled. Movie ticket is around 4 euro. You will need 250-400 monthly for living expenses including single room accommodation.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Islamabad? Is there any advice you can give?

Most of the Universities have hostels on campus and foreigners get accommodation on priority basis.However, if you want to search accommodation on your own ,you should consult some local friends or search for room rentals online through websites like Zameen.com

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food cooked at homes is usually traditional. I like Alfredo Pasta,Biryani,freshly baked pizza , polo Chicken and grilled Burgers.

Yes! There are a lot of local and continental restaurants. I personally like Howdy ,Chaaye Khaana, Monal and TGIF Friday`s

Is the nightlife good in Islamabad? Where is good to go?

People in Islamabad usually sleep early at Night. Bars can be accessed at 5 star hotels .There are late night parties too but they are usually private.
