What is it like to live in Irakleion? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Irakleion is not a town to admire-- it's not particularly pretty nor meritorious when it comes to architecture and landscape-- but its a town to live in and wnjoy yourself. The people, the excellent weather, the openness of everything makes it ideal for students to just be themselves and have a good time. You can get everywhere really quickly, you can make friends very easily and if you're up for it the natural wonders of Crete are just a bus away.
