Why did you choose to go to Irakleion, Greece?

I always wanted to visit Greece. In my childhood I used to learn something about greek scientists and philosopher. and also about Greek mythology. So Greece is a dream country for me.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship is for 10 months. I get thousands and its pretty good amount for living here.

What is the student lifestyle like in Irakleion?

University of Crete is well reputed. So students come here from all over the Greece. They are very focused, attentive,friendly and brilliant. But here study is competitive also.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Irakleion to other students?

study environment and structure is good. Peoples are friendly. University administration is helpful. And the city is small, peaceful and beautiful.

What is the food like?

So many, can't specify.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Irakleion?

In my case,NO

How much does it cost to live in Irakleion?

According to lifestyles.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes it's easy and there are course also.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Irakleion from your city?

Airplane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Irakleion?

Lots of Bars,Mini bar, clubs. And also houses of other Erasmus fellows is an idle place for late night parties.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Irakleion?

Lots of here... Grand,Galletto,Mcdonadls,Pizza macaroni, Pizza fun, Firi firi and what no! Lots of!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

So many places to visit. Can not specify!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Irakleion in the future?

This is the best time of your life.. stay United and enjoy every moments. It won't come back again!
