What is the student lifestyle like in Irakleion?

Students in Irakleion almost every day are at the city center until 9 o'clock and drinking coffee.Most of them are still staying outside for drinking beers or wine ! there are lot's of place to go and drink .

How much does it cost to live in Irakleion?

If we take into consideration a normal student want 250-400 for his rent (fluctuation depenting the districts.)

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Irakleion? Is there any advice you can give?

it depends of the student .My advice about the accommodation is to live near to city center.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Irakleion has the famous GYROS (and it cost only 3€), also you can find lot's of taverns near to the port ! favorite dish is fried fishes at taverna's near to the port.

What places would you recommend visiting in Irakleion?

you should visit KNOSSOS and FAISTOS . also you can visit the historical museum at the city center.

Is it good to eat out in Irakleion? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

of course . you can go to the adresse milatou . you can find there lots of spots to eat.

Is the nightlife good in Irakleion? Where is good to go?

Irakleion has 4-5 (good) clubs . Also it has lots of pubs
there are all in the city center!

What advice would you give future students heading to Irakleion?

i will advice the to find an apartment near to city center
nightlife is very good , food also .
try to move for a coffee at the dictrict Tei at 11-15 o clock . lots of people are there at these hours.
