I choose Irakleion for the weather and the atmosphere. In addition prices are relatively cheap.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Irakleion to other students?

Yes, I highly recommend the city and the University of Irakleion. It's a really nice place to study, and after my experience, I can tell that teacher/administration let you do your own business but they answer anytime you need it.

What is the food like?

The food is typically cretan and greek. Fresh salads and fresh fishes. Tavern are really famous here, and cheap. There is also plenty of typicals meals like Souvlaki (meat on a stick).

The culture is to share the appetizers and sometimes the principal dish too. It's really a good experience.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Irakleion from your city?

The easiest way to travel from Orléans to Irakleion is to take a flight from Paris.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Irakleion?

Stone Project is the best.
