What is it like to live in Hradec Kralove? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I was studying there for 6 years and I would recomment it, if you like smaller city with lots of parks and trees. It is a pretty calm city, you can walk everywhere on foot. You can also buy or borrow a bicykle, because there is pretty a flat land. If you like studying in parks, going by walk next to the river and through the historic center of the city, definitely come to Hradec Králové.

What is the student lifestyle like in Hradec Kralove?

I was studing medicine and dentistry on Charles University Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové. I liked the most that there not too many students. The doctors knows you more personally and it is like a small family in there.

How much does it cost to live in Hradec Kralove?

It is pretty cheap I would say, cheaper than for example in Prague.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Hradec Kralove? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not, there are few student colleges, but you can also find a nice flat and the price is still good.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are many restaurants, indian, there is a really good italian pasta restaurant, good burgers and many more. You have to try czech food for sure.

All the green parks.

There is a pretty cheap lunch menu in every restaurant.

Is the nightlife good in Hradec Kralove? Where is good to go?

I realy liked the parties for students made by students, you can meet new friends there. There are 3 clubs and 2 pubs, where you will find most of the students.

What advice would you give future students heading to Hradec Kralove?

If you like calm city for studying, where you go to parties as well, like having everything close to you, love green parks and good cafebars, where you can study, definitely think about Hradec Králové.
