Living in Harare is really fun it's mostly fast living and I would recommend it for all kinds of people.
What is the student lifestyle like in Harare?
It's really good. You can stay on campus at the University of Zimbabwe or you can rent out an apartment.
How much does it cost to live in Harare?
It varies from $100 up $2000 depending on which part of the city you are living.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Harare? Is there any advice you can give?
No its not. I would recommend to stay out of the high density areas.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
They offer different cuisine from the traditional foods to all kinds. My favorite is the St Elmos ribs with a side of fries.
What places would you recommend visiting in Harare?
I would recommend.. Lake chimera borrowdale village.. Avondale...adventure land..wild geese the list is endless
Is it good to eat out in Harare? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
yes it is... Maestro, St elmos, ocean basket, Antonio's, nandos and news cafe are some of my favorite places
Is the nightlife good in Harare? Where is good to go?
There's is plenty of night life especially in the city center.. The clubs include centurion, publos, 1+1,news cafe
What advice would you give future students heading to Harare?
That's be careful with your belongings and never trust anyone. But have as much fun as you can.
