Why did you choose to go to Hamburg, Germany?

Because of obly place that Turkish Airlines accepted.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

3 months pass I receive 1.000 euro

What is the student lifestyle like in Hamburg?

easy for using ubahn and sbahn. Only traveling in the city is a little bit high priced. There must be a student free card for traveling around and museums, art galleries. Because of I like history. City's geography is beautiful. Many things looks like İstanbul. But not historical as İstanbul.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Hamburg to other students?

I have a traineeship in Turkish Airlines. Turkish Airlines is a big company. Next year with the third airport. They will grove much more than now.

What is the food like?

I prefer especially fish and patatoe.
Halal foods too...

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Hamburg?

I am with my friends. Have no idea about rent prices.
(Depends on the place)

How much does it cost to live in Hamburg?

for 3 months 1.500 euro

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

In my traineeship its hard to take a German course. And the prices are changing 250-300 euros per month. I advice to look other opportunities.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Hamburg from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Hamburg?

Altona and Alster

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Hamburg?

Turkish restaurants are good. Example; doner, kebab, mantı restaurants are really good.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Alster, Altona, Jungfernstig, hafen...

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Hamburg in the future?

Yes sure... This city have 2,302 bridges and looks like Vevice, İstanbul, London too. A beautiful geography that you can see river included with sea and ocean. A mixed but nice wievs
