Why did you choose to go to Guarda, Portugal?

I've never been in Portugal and I've always wanted to see the Iberian Peninsula. It was the best option from the available locations in my school.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with your living costs?

My scholarship wasn't enough for all my Erasmus time. It was finished after 2 months. But I travelled a lot, so that's why.

The best thing here is that we have lessons together with Portuguese people. They are very helpful and they like to have fun.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Guarda to other students?

Of course! If you have good friends you can always spent time with them to bring smile to your face.

What is the food like?

Food is really good. Very juicy and different. It's tasty. I love the bakeries here, too.

T&M Burger! AliBaba in Vivaci and the restaurants near Vivaci -great cheap traditional and food.

What places are there to visit?

In Guarda, you can see the highest peak in Portugal and, of course, the Cathedral. In summer, you can see the river and around the area, which is part of UNESCO. Viseu and Sao Pedro are quite nice. But if you have the chance to see Madeira, just go! It's the most beautiful place!
