Why did you choose to go to Guarda, Portugal?

Actually I did not have another option.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I had almost 2000 euros for 6 month. And it’s enough I think so.

What is the student lifestyle like in Guarda?

Usual life for example , we are going school and come back home . If somebody want, it can join sport activity or can go to travel a lot.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Guarda to other students?

Fifty fifty because Guarda is small city , there is no a lot of club or activity, like I said , if they want, they can create activity such a us, for example we made party of barbecue , chestnut.

What is the food like?

Food we r cooking ourself , if they don’t know how to cook , they can eat ipg restaurants 2.5 euros like that.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Guarda?

Firstly , I was late to contact with university, for that reason I could not live ipg rezidance . I lived first 6 months Erasmus home owner Helder cauto. He is good man but expensive 115 rent and mean 60 euro bills but it can be 100 euros bills.
And rezidance rents max 120 euros there are no bills coast.

How much does it cost to live in Guarda?

Per months 400 enough .

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

English is enough to trip and there is a portegues Cours .

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Guarda from your city?

They can use flixbus to go Madrid .it’s just 10 euro and to go Porto can buy ticket for student just 10.7 euro bu it’s not FlixBus . They should use Ryanair plane always .

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Guarda?

Tuna, capa clubs that’s all

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Guarda?

Yes there are restaurants a lot Guarda especially good for me Guarda district reastaurant. And tha mall la vie has food shop also.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The central Cathedral of course . And there are a lot of small culturel shop . Castle tower.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Guarda in the future?

Okey my advise are don’t stop in Guarda , go travel a lot. Thanks..
