I would recommend to live in Grenoble, the city is very enjoyable. It's not a too big city so you're not lost in it, but you still have a lot to do. The transports are very useful and it's very easy to go from some place to another. People in Grenoble are very nice and the mountains are very beautiful, particularly during the winter.

What is the student lifestyle like in Grenoble?

The student lifestyle in Grenoble is very cool. You have a lot of places dedicated to students (libraries, etc) and you have a lot of places to go out during the night. The shops are great too. If you like skiing, you'll love Grenoble too !

How much does it cost to live in Grenoble?

I'd say you would cost you around 400 or 500 euros to rent a studio by your own but you can find something cheaper if you share it with other people. The food isn't very expensive. If you go out, you'll pay something around 10 euros, depending on where you like to go.

You can try the cable car which is very famous, and you'll have a very pretty view on the city and the mountains.

Yes, it's very good ! You have some nice bars, like Le tord boyaux, Le Métropolitain, le Sun Valley (where you can dance too)...
