What is it like to live in Grenoble? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

In reality, the campus is situated in Saint-Martin-d'Hères, but it is very close to Grenoble. Public transports are very developped here and you can move without any difficulties. It takes less than 20 min by tram to go to the center of Grenoble.
The climate is temperate there. Winters are cold but you can go skiing with friends for the week-end for instance. In summer, there are lot of places to go hiking.

Don't worry about coming here! It is a city very easy to live with lot of institution to help you. You can contact the CROUS which is the main student housing office. There lot of mundus and erasmus students who come here to study. You can find easily people who can help and advice you, do not hesitate to go to and communicate with people (social networks, ...)
