Why did you choose to go to Grenoble, France?
I wanted to go to France to improve my french skills and so I chose Grenoble, because I like the mountains and I wanted to go Skiing in winter.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

300 Euro from ERASMUS
It is possible to get money for living from France but I did not apply for that
What is the student lifestyle like in Grenoble?
Lots of nature, a big Campus where everthing happens. I think it is not the biggest party-hotspot, but I like that.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Grenoble to other students?
Yes, but the studies are making quite an amount of time here. French university is very much like school and not as free as in Germany I would say
What is the food like?
Nothing special
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Grenoble?
no
How much does it cost to live in Grenoble?
Depends. If you live in a students home: between 180 and 450 euro. I live in a private, shared flat for 325 euro, but it is not in the center of Grenoble
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There are Language courses. You get to learn french, because french peoples' english is mostly not good.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Grenoble from your city?
Airplane from Lyon
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Grenoble?
There are many good bars around the place of Notre Dame.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The Bastille
Go hiking-- la Moucherotte
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Grenoble in the future?
Write emails in french if possible
