What is it like to live in Gothenburg? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would strongly recommend living in Gothenburg. It is a beautiful, big city but with a quaint feel. The weather can be quite rainy, windy and it changes rapidly. I would however say that it is part of the charm of Gothenburg. There is always something going on, you just have to know where to look.

What is the student lifestyle like in Gothenburg?

Gothenburg is definitely a great student city. Annotated what faculty you choose to attend, it is a great and easy way to meet new people from all over the world.

How much does it cost to live in Gothenburg?

Hard to say, it is quite hard to find somewhere to live but for a student you have to be prepared to pay an average of €500 a month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Gothenburg? Is there any advice you can give?

It is quite difficult, I would try Blocket.se or the student housing organization SGS.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

A lot of seafood since we are on the west coast but the Swedish meatballs are of course essential.

Yes, Gothenburg have great restaurants. Noba in Vasastaden, is a great spot with Nordic cuisine. If you like tapas try Mañana.

Is the nightlife good in Gothenburg? Where is good to go?

I guess the nightlife is good. Clubs like Park lane, Push and Yaki-da are great for dancing. If you wanna go out for a drink anyplace at Andralånggatan is okay.
