Graffiti street in Ghent is one of the most amazing places ever solely based on the artistic quality spread all over the walls. I went for a walk one day to find this street on purpose as I had heard so much about it. I missed it as one side of it was covered as it was under construction. But I managed to find it on the other side and it was worth the extra walk.
It is more of an alley than a street and would take only about a minute or two to walk through it. But it does take longer as you are viewing all the different art and may stop to take some pictures also. It is so bright and colourful and just puts a smile on your face when you see it. It is in stark contrast to the rest of Ghent with its cathedrals and mesmerising architecture.
Graffiti is allowed only in certain areas in Ghent and this alley is one of them, which allows graffiti artists to go wild on their creative instincts.
