Why did you choose to go to Foggia, Italy?

I didn't have another option.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

6 months. I received about 1200EUR from my University.

What is the student lifestyle like in Foggia?

Foggia is a small city. Everybody know each other. We were 60-70 Erasmus students so we were in touch every day. Every Wednesdays we had meetings with ESN - to organize parties, trips etc.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Foggia to other students?

Yes, it is cheaper than in other big cities.

What is the food like?

Pizza, pizza and pizza...; ) We cooked at home. You can buy fresh food on the street market.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Foggia?

No, I found it the first day.

How much does it cost to live in Foggia?

2 years ago double room cost about 150EUR/person + bills. Attention: The heating in winter is very very expensive.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, for me it was easy. We had italian course twice a week.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Foggia from your city?

By plane to Rome and then by train.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Foggia?

Where other Erasmus go! :) It is very small city so you don't have many options.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Foggia?

I don't remember the name...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Foggia is not very cultural...
