Hello, guys! Today I would like to give my review about one restaurant which my mentors and I visited during the lunch break. My instructors told me this is a good place to eat Doner Kebaps. So we decided to try this place and see ourselves how the food is there. This site is located in Ataturk street, and it is easy to reach. As I mentioned, this place is one of the best for kebap's, but today I wanted to eat Yoğurtlu Izgara Köfte (Grilled meatballs with yoghurt) and tomato soup with cheese. Why do I like Yoğurtlu Izgara Köfte? On the bottom of this plate, there are sliced bread pieces with special yoghurt sauce, on the top of them there are grilled meatballs (I love them), green peppers, tomatoes and rice. I have not tasted many types of köfte even if I am in Turkey for five months.
The atmosphere
I very like the atmosphere in Kebapname. Everything looks new; you can take a seat on the terrace, which is open. While you are eating, you can enjoy Turkish music.
Services
I would rate services 7 out of 10. Seven, not because it is bad, let's say it is normal, nothing too special. Waiters always check your table, check if you need something. Do not forget: If you are drinking tea in Turkey and you did not finish, the waiter can take it away from you, they are thinking you finished drinking. In my opinion, I should finish drinking tea, because I paid for it.
Verdict about food
If you would like to eat meatballs, better you should look for another restaurant. Why did I not like it so much? It was quite hard to eat small pieces of bread, because they were hard, even if sauce. In some restaurants, pieces of bread are softer and with the sauce, they taste better. Grilled meatballs were also hard; my mentors told me the same. But this food is enough to get full, and maybe you would need a friend to share with your food. Tomato soup was very tasty; I enjoyed eating it. I would like to taste it again.
If I pass through this place, I will update this review for Doner Kebaps :)
