After passing Megara Hyblaea, we went up the mountains to see Enna, also known as Belvedere because of the nice view around. In 139 BC, a slave war erupted here, but the leader Eunus was defeated by Roman troops ...


The city lying on a hill, we could see very far over the whole island! It was a sunny day and we were lucky with the weather ...


We all went up the visitor's platform on a rock high up above the plains ...


I discovered this heart-shaped piece of a forest circumvented by roads!


Here you can see the highway with two tracks leading into the blue distance of nothingness ... poetic.
