What is it like to live in Dublin? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Dublin is a fun city to live in. City centre offers a variety of facilities for people, for example, Dublin has a good night life, offering range of nightclubs. Also a range of restaurants are available for good prices

What is the student lifestyle like in Dublin?

The student life in Dublin is fun. A student can get a lot of discounts in restaurants and shops. It is important to visit Irish pub to experience Irish culture but do not drink a lot of beer.

How much does it cost to live in Dublin?

Accommodation can be a bit expensive. For transportation, a student can get a bus ticket "leap card" which will provide cheaper transportation and the ticket can be used on any transportation in city centre. To buy ingredients for food, there are plenty cheap shops around and they offer great deals.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Dublin? Is there any advice you can give?

Please, do not send money through the Internet, as a deposit. Ask to see the apartment first and meet the person face to face. Accommodation might be not the best and quite expensive but it is important to find an honest person.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is very nice in Dublin and you can find a range of restaurants that offer different foods. There are Chinese restaurants and Indian and Korean and all of them are really great and prices are really good!

What places would you recommend visiting in Dublin?

I would recommend to visit Temple Bar and Guinness Storehouse. You can find out a lot about Irish culture from visiting those places. Irish beaches and Wicklow Mountains offer beautiful landscapes.

What advice would you give future students heading to Dublin?

Do not pay deposit through Internet. Also make sure that you take transportation early enough as there might be some delays, especially going to city centre.
