Why did you choose to go to Dublin, Ireland?
I went to Dublin because I was interested in improving my English and I would do an experience abroad.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I didn't have money from university. I paid everything by myself.
What is the student lifestyle like in Dublin?
Wake up at 10. 30, have breakfast, go to university, come back, lunch at 14. 00 and go to library to study. Then have dinner at 20. 00 and hang out! Pub and Nightclub every night! :-)
Would you recommend the city and the University of Dublin to other students?
Yes, of course!
What is the food like?
Good... They use to have different kind of meals... In my opinion is all very good!
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Dublin?
Yes... First time was hard to find a flat.. Because flats in city center are very expensive and you have to share it with other students. At the end I prefered to stay in a hostel and people there were amazing!
How much does it cost to live in Dublin?
For 1 month and half I spent more or less 1. 100€
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?
Be careful with language... In Dublin people talks the "Irish version of English"... First time was very difficult to understand the language... The accent was very particular...
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Dublin from your city?
Ryanair.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Dublin?
Temple Bar :-)
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
All of the cities!
Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Dublin?
