For me, it's full of fun and warmth.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Dublin to other students?
I highly recommend Dublin and University College of Dublin.
What is the food like?
Acceptable but not really delicious...
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Dublin?
Yes, it's quite hard as there are few accommodations and good ones are gone very quickly.
How much does it cost to live in Dublin?
- Food (if cooking by yourself): 200€/month.
- Transportation: 50€/month.
- Renting: 300 - 700€/month (depending on you share or not your room with others).
- Others: 100€/month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There are writing skill course, free for students at UCD.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Dublin from your city?
Flight.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Dublin?
Dicey Gardens: funny and most importantly, the cheapest bar, suitable for students.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Dublin?
I don't know.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Dublin in the future?
Please actively connecting. Experience is unique for each one but if you have a good network, wherever you live, you will enjoy your life. Student life is great, don't waste it on meaningless things.
