Why did you choose to go to Dublin, Ireland?
English speaking country, never been there before and seemed very cool
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
6 months and got i believe 9 euro per day
What is the student lifestyle like in Dublin?
Great pub culture, lovely people, awesome night life but it is rather expensive.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Dublin to other students?
Definitely
What is the food like?
They eat 3 hot meals a day, so not very healthy. But ofcourse you can choose to eat more healthy yourself
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Dublin?
No cost to find, but it was very hard to find something.
How much does it cost to live in Dublin?
I think 1000 per month
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
In the beginning te accent is hard to understand however you get used to it
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Dublin from your city?
By bus
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Dublin?
Diceys!! Very cheap from monday to thursday. The hangar for techno, the button factory, more exclusive is 37 dawson street and sams bar, furthermore the living room and the opium bar.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Dublin?
For some great mexican food acapulco, for more fancy the church.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Kilmainham jail, phoenix park, howth (the cliff walks), Guinness storehouse
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Dublin in the future?
Enjoy Dublin and definitely explore the rest of Ireland
