Why did you choose to go to Dublin, Ireland?
I choose Ireland because i dont need to learn another language and i like their culture and Dublin is capital and cosmopolitan city.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I am master student here so i dont get scholarship
What is the student lifestyle like in Dublin?
Being student in Dublin is nice but it is an expensive city for a student, especially transportation.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Dublin to other students?
I would definitely recommend Dublin and UCD to every student. UCD has so much international students.
What is the food like?
About food,there are so many options in Dublin,there are different restaurants from all over the world and it is possible to find many things in the supermarkets.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Dublin?
I had to stay in a hostel for 5 week until i find a room. Most difficult thing in Dublin is trying to find a room in September or October. And rents are quite expensive.
How much does it cost to live in Dublin?
My rent is 345€ per month but i have a small room so generally normal size room costs 400-500€ per month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Irish people have different accent so it is sometimes hard to understand them but it depends on the person.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Dublin from your city?
only option is going by plane for me. The most expensive option is flying directly from Istanbul to Dublin.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Dublin?
There are many good pubs in the city center,in Dame Street,in George Street etc.
