I didn't know anything about Hungary before coming here, I like to discover new places and cultures.

Moreover some ex classmates came here years ago and they strongly reccomended me this University.

What is the student lifestyle like in Debrecen?

Amazing!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Debrecen to other students?

Yes, I would reccomend the city and University to future Erasmus students!

For many reasons, in short: nice city with all the facilities (sport centre, cinemas, clubs restaurants, shopping centre etc) and it's not so big city, that means you can discover it at all and hang out with all the students easily.

Mainly Hungarian dishes, but also international food can be found.

No.

Much more less expensive compared to Euro zone countries.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Not at all. Yes there are language courses avaiables during the academic year.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Debrecen from your city?

Flights.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Debrecen?

There are tens of clubs/pubs all around the city centre.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Debrecen?

All the city centre is surrounded by good and lovely restaurants, just walk down the centre and choose one.
