Why did you choose to go to Debrecen, Hungary?
I realized that their tuition fee is less than other European English universities, and also Hungary is a member of schingen
What is the student lifestyle like in Debrecen?
Debrecen is not a big city so you can find many pubs and sight to see and events, therefore you should think about making plans and entertain yourself specially if you are from a big city,it becomes boring for you and become worse when you have tough lessons.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Debrecen to other students?
Actually people are different in their personality,their strength and their hard work. But if you choose to study medicine you should really study from day one , because I think here is kind of like self study and teachers love to ask you the details alot.
What is the food like?
It's normal food.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Debrecen?
No , there are facebook pages and good agencies that are really helpful
How much does it cost to live in Debrecen?
For me at least 600$ per Month
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
For me it was difficult, and just know some basic communication
I think there are private class to teach hungarian but in medical program we had hungarian courses.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Debrecen from your city?
Airplain
Train
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Debrecen?
You can find many good restaurants in city center and on its way to the university( i do not want to adverstise any)
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Yellow church- main building:)
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Debrecen in the future?
