Why did you choose to go to Colmar, France?

I had 2 options, parma(ıtaly) or colmar(france). i asked some people about the cities. and they recommened colmar.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

i didn't receive any scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Colmar?

it's retired people's best place.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Colmar to other students?

no.

What is the food like?

they have typical German foods. food is cool. Tart Flambe is the best!(it's a very very thin pizza)

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Colmar?

yeah. when i arrived colmar. my coordinator asistant didn't arrange any accomadation which i had already send a mail to her about accomadation. that was like a hell for me. they are rookie about coordination.

How much does it cost to live in Colmar?

at least around 400 Euro-500 Euro

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

actually the courses are available but my erasmus coordinator professor didnt arrange a french course for me.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Colmar from your city?

by plane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Colmar?

there is a bar underground, i dont remember exact name, it's like osmo or l'osmos... in week days. pouison rouge for weekends.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Colmar?

Antep Döner has really cool döner. and if you will tell my name to them. they will probably smile and tell smt about me =)

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Colmar?

if you want to have a calm life, yeah it's your place but if you wanna have a great fantastic wonderful erasmus life, don't choose colmar!!! and don't wait professors will interesting in you enough. it's not cheap city.and the university are really rookie about coordination. i didnt have any mentor or body. DON'T CHOOSE COLMAR =) and also i forgat to tell the great story about my erasmus life. i was expecting that my education language was in english. but they try to give the courses in french. because my coordinator in istanbul, he said that "your education language will be in english" but it wasnt.!
