Travel to Coimbra, Portugal.
Coimbra, the City:
Coimbra is the 3rd biggest city in Portugal, but in my opinion, it’s small and traditional, it looks like a city for students; I meet so many of them. The most important thing, it’s that Coimbra has the oldest university in Portugal, and one of the oldest in Europe. Students have special clothes as uniform (from the story of Harry Potter because the author of this book series was inspired by Portugal History). I was impressed by the beauty of the library in that University which have old books and also by the Botanic garden of the university.
I was walking all the day to visit the city, and it was very hard because it’s (like Porto) you must go up so much and have so many narrow streets. In my way I loved the architecture of the city and also I found so many viewpoints from where you can see the entire city.

People living in Coimbra :
Coimbra is a city for students, so there are so many living in (Portugueses and internationals). They are very open, helpful, kind, and usually make discussions with you when they feel that you are not from Portugal, to know more about you and to help you if you need. They showed me the best restaurants in Coimbra, but because it was closed, they helped me to have lunch from the Faculty and they told me that there are a lot of entertainment places in the city.
Foods and drinks :
Restaurants are a little bite expensive comparing to Porto, but in my case as a student, I had a normal lunch in the canteen of the university with 3 euros
Monuments:
The city has so many Cathedrals, Churches and a lot of amazing Parks and museums. I was impressed when I visited the museum of Physics and Zoology. I visited also some Monuments which are (Aqueduto de São Sebastião, Seminário Maior de Coimbra).
