What is it like to live in Coimbra? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Live in Coimbra is a great opportunity for all who are in search of a small city but with elevated standards: well organized with the transports, the streets and the viability of the centre, you can go from place to place on your boot without difficulties. The city has a great green area nearby the river, and people usually stay in it running, admiring the landscape. The people living in the city is very kindly and they try to help you for every problem you maight have. I recommend the city if the view of old structures doesn't disturb you. In my opinion, it gives a well-accepted malinconic mood.

It is not difficult to find accomodation in Coimbra. On line you can find many advices, but if have the possibility, you could also stay one or two days in a hostel and walk throught the city asking for an economic room in one of the many residences there are here. In the centre, for example, there are a lot.

The Sé Velha (literarly The Old Cathedral) is a very beautiful place, and it is suggestive also the chiosco in the inside. If you love art and want to touch with your hand (and the meaning of my words is literary) Sé Velha is the greatest point where to start this travel.

To explore the city in every corner. Surely, there is a good surprise from art, culture and history that this city can give you.
