What is it like to live in Coimbra? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Coimbra is a beautiful medieval city. I can not really have an opinion of what it's like to live there because I've only been here for 2 months. Feels good though.

Student lifestyle is nice, many parties, theaters, cheap bars and so on. Depends also on one's wallet. Many nature places to visit, such as parks, riverside and so on.

How much does it cost to live in Coimbra?

I don't know the exact number but it can cost from 300 monthly minimum up to what one can spend.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Coimbra? Is there any advice you can give?

No, it is not. Many houses are empty and if you try you can find a cheap solution with roommates or not.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food like food.

What places would you recommend visiting in Coimbra?

Jardim botanico.

Is it good to eat out in Coimbra? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I don't really know the names. Places at Baixo or in the Alta or some cheaper ones in the suburbs... Cooking is my favorite option.

Is the nightlife good in Coimbra? Where is good to go?

All bars are good for different reasons, music could be better, but in some places it still is OK.

Bigorna is always a good meeting spot, or Praca Republica. Many options.
