First of all, it is a student city, small, where everyone meets all the time and has common places where to socialize.

What is the student lifestyle like in Coimbra?

Excellent. Being a small city, you can get anywhere in a flash to meet with your friends. There are parties most of the days of the week, especially on the academic night Thursday.

How much does it cost to live in Coimbra?

You can rent a room in a flat with other guys including all the utilities for 200-250 euro.

A flat with 3 rooms costs near 500-550 euro. It's good when you have some friends with you, it's cheap to live here compared to other countries in Europe.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Coimbra? Is there any advice you can give?

Not at all. There are many places to rent and you can get a place, just be patient and search for it.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Very good. The Portuguese have a rich gastronomy because of the ocean.
