Why did you choose to go to Coimbra, Portugal?

Because a girl from my school was in Coimbra and she spoke about this beautiful city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am here for 4 months. I don't remember how much money I got, but if I want to travel I need more money. But for living and food, it's OK.

What is the student lifestyle like in Coimbra?

I think it's fun.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Coimbra to other students?

Coimbra is a beautiful city. New experiences and so on.

I love "bacalhau", it is my favourite food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Coimbra?

I found accommodation on the Internet.

How much does it cost to live in Coimbra?

Difficult question. If you do not need much, you can live anywhere.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I have a Portuguese language course at school but Portuguese is very difficult for me.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Coimbra from your city?

By plane to Lisbon and then by bus. The bus is cheaper.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Coimbra?

I don't know. There are many clubs and so on. I prefer Brunn's coffe diner Coimbra.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Coimbra?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Many beautiful parks and churches, for example, Santa Cruz and so on.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Coimbra in the future?

Book a hotel as soon as possible and contact someone who was there.
