Babes Park
Cluj Napoca is a city in the centre of Romania. It is a big city, famous for its universities that is why a lot of erasmus students choose to go there in their exchange. The Faculty is very good, law or Languages universities also.
More than just a city full of students, Cluj Napoca can imprese you by its pubs, gardens, discos, malls, museums, art exhibitions or shops. I can assure you that it is a clean city but a lousy one. Exactly what most of the students like.
Cluj is known for its diversity. Parcs, cinemas, church, school, people... every kind of these... you can find in Cluj.
The centre of the city is very impresive. With a big Cathedral, a little garden, a boulevard and pubs, the city is one of the most beautiful in Romania. Also the view from the hill of Cluj is realy nice.
If you want to take a walk in the city it is inevitable not to end up in Babes Balyai parc. It is the biggest and the most beautiful parc in Cluj. If you want to run you can go there because there are a lot of paths special designe for this. If you have a little children or just want to spend some nicetime with your friends there are 3 playgrounds - one is made of wood, one is all green and the otherone is painted in red, yellow and blue. There is a cool place for the skateboard too. Also, if you want to swim it has a large pool outside and inside. If you want to play tennis, rugby, futball, handball or do gymnastics, no problem. Babes Park has everything you are looking for. The river next to the park makes even a better sensation. It is awsome!
This park is the oldest too. A lot of old and huge trees are in there. In weekends there are a lot of activies for children and adults too.
Which is even more interesting is that there is a lake where you can admire the ducks or go with paddle. You can take some beautiful photos there. It is an old Casino which now is a restaurant.
You will be surprised!
